This page lists tools that might be helpfull in the creation of localised documentation files.
- gettext/po – The Gnu gettext tools that form the basis for our project
- po4a – framework to translate documentation and other materials
- XEmacs (with po-mode): runs on Unices with X
- GNU Emacs (with po-mode): runs on Unices
- KBabel: runs on KDE
- poEdit: linux and windows
poEdit does support multiple plural forms since version 1.3.
Update (Jan 7, 2007): poEdit now also has a Mac version available. You can download from their sourceforge download page. - AquaEmacs for Mac OS X (needs carbon for Mac OS X)
- LocFactory Editor (free Lite version) for Mac OX S
