This page gives a quick overview over the amount of PM user groups worldwide and which languages they speak.

Obviously most Perl users live in either english-speaking or European countries. But let’s be a bit more precise:

  • Currently (Oct. 10, 2006) there are about 302 active PM groups worldwide
  • 8 groups are non-geographical like Nomad.pm and Women.pm

“Major” languages (“official” languages of the respective countries) spoken are as follows:
