Available translations of the Perl core documentation as of Oct. 12, 2006
x = complete translation exists
x nn = translations is nn % complete
x 0 = document has been assigned, but translation has not yet begun.
The Spanish* and Portuguese versions are by far the most complete, closely followed by French and Italian. The German translation is somewhat behind, although Germany has, measured by the amount of PM groups, the second largest user community in the world. Looks like we just have to be a bit more efficient… ;o)
*Unfortunately I was mistaken by the amount documents in the spanish sourceforge repository. I hope to get the real figures, soon.
At the moment translations of the core modules are apparently only available in Japanese. (These are not covered here, yet.)
The Turkish translation project has officially been discontinued. There might be some resources out there, though. I’ll try to find out.
